Job Description

Looking for a Business Systems Specialist to serve as a member of its technology team.  This technical position will be the main point of contact for all hardware and software issues for the department. This role requires a broad knowledge of information technology methods and troubleshooting procedures applicable to multiple types of work processes.  The position will service as an IT Liaison and will be responsible for troubleshooting all IT issues. Duties will also include providing application support for our Microsoft Dynamic CRM and Hyland OnBase platforms, license management, device management, and account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and resolve basic issues
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or in-person, until they’ve solved a technical issue
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Assist with system administration tasks in our Microsoft Dynamic CRM and Hyland OnBase platforms
  • Assist with researching, identifying, and communicating software solutions to fit departmental needs




Required Skills & Experience

  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues for both hardware and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers, both orally and written
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot software and applications


Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least an associate’s degree in Information Technology preferred with 1-3 years experience
  • Experience supporting customers in multiple remote locations, utilizing remote support tools
  • Experience with Remedy / Cherwell or any related incident management system
    Windows OS (Windows 7 and 10)
  • PC Hardware environment including laptops, desk tops and thin client computers
  • Remote connectivity including VPN, TCP/IP
