Our client has an immediate need for a Sr. Data Analyst for their office in the northwest metro area of Atlanta. The main responsibility will be the design and development of analytic projects, applying the appropriate methodologies, supporting the consultant in the pre-sales phase in order to define the technical aspects of the projects also through the management of meetings with the customers, capture, manipulate and manage data for projects and coordinate projects with high analytical complexity, interfacing directly with the customers in order to gather the data, share the methodology and transfer the project results and know-how with a consultancy approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of analytic models, applying the appropriate methodologies
  • Assist in the pre-sales phase in order to define the technical aspects of the data models also through the management of meetings with the customers
  • Capture, manipulate and manage data for the project
  • Coordinate projects with high analytical complexity, interfacing directly with the customers in order to gather the data, share the methodology and transfer the project results and know-how with a consultancy approach
  • Coordinate, as project manager, the project guarantee the project qualitative and economical standards (deadlines, man days; effectiveness)
  • Participate in the internal processes in order to elaborate new analytical methodologies and deployment into SW for process automation
  • Participate in the internal processes of knowledge sharing and product/service innovation
  • Assist in training and professional development of the colleagues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance or Mathematics, Advanced Degree preferred
  • 6+ years of related Statistical Analysis experience
  • Strong skills in SAS, R or related statistical modelling tools
  • Strong capabilities in working with SQL, MS Excel, Visual Basic
  • Knowledge of US laws regarding lending practices
  • Credit Risk Management solutions / strategy development
  • Knowledge and experience using advanced modelling and machine learning techniques
  • Market experience preferred-consulting, financial services
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 35% of time (either domestic or international)
