Job Description


My client is an energy management company that actually sets the prices for energy. They are a not for profit so they really only have the ability to bring on a few fulltime employees, but have a large IT team where contractors typically stay for 2-4 years. They're hiring for a Windows Patch Management for a minimum of a two-year contract paying between 28-35.00 per hour depending on experience.

This person will be responsible for prioritize, plan, schedule, and test the distribution of Windows related patches via SCCM.  In addition, you will Develop, maintain and publish Windows related security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines based on compliance requirements and organizational goals.  This is a great opportunity to Act as the primary liaison for Microsoft Windows Platforms (Windows 7), MS Office, and Internet Explorer security issues & really grow your security skills in a stable company.



Required Skills & Experience

  • 1 year of experience in a software patch management and compliance specialist
  • Knowledge of windows scripting
  • SSCM Administration
  • Desktop security reporting experience
  • High level of familiarity with risk assessment for remediating security vulnerabilities


Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4 year degree
  • Active Directory and Group Policy Administration

Daily Responsibilities

  • 50% Develop, maintain and publish Windows client related security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines based on compliance requirements and organizational goals.
  • 50% Prioritize, plan, schedule, test and execute the distribution of Windows related patches.


The Offer
