Quality Assurance Automation Manager

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Introduction:
Do you have a passion for technology and implementing automation/virtualization testing?  The Quality Assurance Automation Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of automation test tools to validate products across multiple platforms.  In this role, you will create and drive the strategic plan and implementation of automation efforts.  You will also coordinate testing of software applications, frequent releases and deployments, client integrations, reporting needs, manage team resources and motivate QA automation engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
Create & drive performance and automation test strategies and test plans to ensure adherence to best practices while identifying process improvement opportunities.
Develop, maintain and upgrade automation test scripts using performance and automation testing tools including service virtualization to facilitate testing when system components are unavailable. 
Develop test harnesses for the efficient and consistent validation of key product functions across platforms.
Perform hands on testing to continually learn functionality of products across platforms identifying automation candidate test cases.
Complete analysis of performance reports (pre- and post- deployment), interpreting usage patterns and trends of both product and platform, translating these into performance optimizations recommendations.
Analyze the production workload and build models within the Performance test environment to perform load and stress tests.
Effectively coach and mentor QA Automation team members.

Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and at least 5 years of related experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
3+ year’s hand-on experience in QA automation and performance testing.
Command over various automation tools, including Selenium, HP UFT, Postman, SOAP UI etc.
Understanding of API, API Gateways, Swagger etc.
Experience with TDD & BDD.
Experience in testing high scale and complex web applications across multiple platform stacks.
Knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, SQL Server, web services, AJAX, Gherkin.
