Job Description

Technical Project Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ 


This role will be instrumental in supporting and driving technology development projects within Architecture, Development, and Infrastructure. It will also encompass interaction with key internal customers and external vendors.  

Key needs:

  • Ability to run concurrent IT, business application, operations, and security projects
  • Must have strong project coordination skills
  • Must have strong reporting skills (document, track and report project status, activities, resources and progress)
  • Must have a technical background, preferably in SaaS or software organizations.
  • Must have experience working in a software agile company working directly with and supporting the technical functions
  • Must have experience working in variety of project methodology (Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban)

Education, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent, or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (PMP and/or CSM certified preferred but not required)
  • In depth understanding with project management and portfolio management best practices
  • Strong SDLC background with experience in complex multi-system projects
  • Preferred Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Microsoft Project, Excel or similar project planning tools


  • Excellent, verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to include reasoning skills such as storage, retrieval, matching and execution skills.


  • Ability to listen to and provide support for teams in problem-identification and decision-making
  • Ability to create an environment of mutual influence; Create positive morale and momentum for projects
  • Ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work both independently collaboratively with customers, peers and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand  and analyze complex problems with multiple complex variables
  • Ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
  • Ability to monitor and report on critical project achievements, and identifying ways to resolve schedule issues
