Program Manager:

This position will support the HCM implementation project, working closely with HR, HRIS, IT and other cross functional leaders to define and execute the transition to Workday HCM from Ultimate Software Ultipro.


  • Driving the execution of the HCM transition program road-map consisting of cross-functional activities/projects, maintaining activities and projects associated with the transition, and driving execution milestone deliverables with adherence to budget and quality measures
  • Coordinating HR impacts with other initiatives to ensure alignment of the transformation road-map
  • Developing frameworks, approach, and methodology leading practices. Support the planning and implementation of processes/leading practices to guide the Workday HCM transition, including service level agreements and KPIs.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships with professionals at all levels within an organization and become a trusted business partner.
  • Acting as a challenger to conventional methods to drive change towards strategic transformation.  Out of the box thinker and influencer of the organization’s executives to sell and drive initiatives,
  • Ensure rigorous organization change management practices are followed to minimize disruptions to end-users and drive adoption
  • Drive weekly and monthly business review meetings and updates with key stakeholders
  • Established ability to deliver large, complex, technical projects on time, on budget, with the appropriate scope, and quality
  • Proficient at business process design, process re-engineering, and organization change/transformation management
  • Proven analytical skills, able to make sound decisions with ambiguous information and ability to analyze complex data
  • Creative self-starter with strong interpersonal skills – able to work effectively as a team and with various stakeholders at all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Strong business sense and demonstrated ability to use good judgment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written/presentation) for all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with budgeting and reporting system preferred.


  • 10+ years progressive experience in consulting, business process or similar role with a F500 company and/or consulting organization. Strong foundation in finance and accounting process, including service delivery options.
  • At least 5 years’ project management experience, with ability to influence across all levels and experience working in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities. Project Management certification a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills, problem solving skills and presentation skills.  Demonstrate the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.  Ability to maintain composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires critical thinking and strong analytical skills. Experience implementing an HCM system.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and One Note.
  • Foundational understanding HR policies, procedures and regulation
  • Four-year degree or equivalent additional experience in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, engineering).
  • Preferred: (Lean) Six Sigma or Project Management Professional (PMP)
