Project Manager
Greenville, SC

This position will be responsible to manage infrastructure projects in the end user service line.  Project assignments will vary as projects are approved to start. 

Engages with technical teams to define the objectives and requirements of the project.
Appropriately develops detailed project plans, milestones and critical-path dates to identify risks associated to project schedule.
Proactively identifies risks and mitigation plans by working with the local, central, and external and supplier teams and stakeholders. Ensures risk plans are in place and manages reactivity to risk triggers as required.
Presents to management the project status including issues and risks.    
Actively works to resolve issues and concerns on topics such as scope, resource, budgeting, change management, along with resolving both political and technical issues.
Engages cross-functional teams as required by the project such as technical analysts, architects, Global Infrastructure teams, Application Development teams, the business, etc.
Manages projects using company specific project methodology, including adherence to company tools and processes, including managing the project budget forecast, monthly reforecasts, per company process and in the Michelin project financial tools.
Ensures all financial processes are adhered to, and directly manages financial transaction entries in company systems when required.
Leads project activities across multiple suppliers.
Establishes and facilitates working relationships with project/program sponsors, partners, and customers for successful project delivery.
Ensures all projects move through standard ITIL acceptance into service processes so that projects move from build to run smoothly.
Ensures all aspects of project delivery are executed within the company Code of Ethics.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience implementing large IT projects.
Strong skills in industry standard Project Management concepts, best practices, and procedures.
Must be a strong collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to and influence stakeholders at all levels and provide thought leadership.
Self-motivated and proactive leader who is confident, articulate and a persuasive communicator with the ability to listen to others.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast moving environment, demonstrated agility and ability to quickly adapt to change.
Effective negotiations, arbitration, and risk management skills.
PMP Certification is a plus.
Lean/Agile experience is a plus.
