MS Exchange Administrator
12 Month Contract 
Ft. Worth, Texas

Job Summary: 
Provide advanced administration and technical support for a centralized, remotely managed, Microsoft-based environment architected to support mission critical email and collaboration services for approximately 45,000 users with particular focus on Exchange 2010 mail flow, Office 365 administration and Outlook/OWA user experience. The environment supports integrated desktop collaboration suite including Outlook, Lync and third party social network capabilities. It will also encompass major integration points such as SharePoint, Office and Active Directory.

What you will be doing: 
Maintain and support the on premise Microsoft Exchange 2010 environment and all messaging components.  We will be migrating the environment to Exchange 2016 this calendar year
Recommend and perform any needed maintenance, upgrades, and installations to ensure the most optimal messaging environment
Work with teams that maintain the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure. 
Work with members of the Network team on integration of applications to messaging and Active Directory environment
Develop and maintain documentation for all responsible environments. Understand and adhere to applicable data privacy practices and laws. Perform official change control as necessary
Assist help desk on escalated tickets pertaining to Outlook 2010, Outlook Web Access, email client functionality via mobile devices, Exchange, backup, recovery, as well as other issues that may arise demonstrating the ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment while effectively prioritizing tasks.
Provide expertise and assistance for routine customer inquiries as well as emergency and operational matters utilizing exceptional customer service orientation 
Support eDiscovery projects 
Monitor alerts and thresholds, taking preventive or corrective action to resolve 
Work together with LAN/WAN teams to troubleshoot network related issues for Active Directory and Exchange using proven analytical and problem solving skills 
Monitor and test Windows network performance and provide performance statistics and trends reports utilizing strong technical knowledge of the Microsoft operating systems 
  
Required: 

A minimum of seven years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange including the backup and restore of mailboxes
A minimum of 7 years of experience supporting users on Outlook and any other client mail applications. 
A minimum of 5 years of experience with Windows Server platforms
Experience with Exchange, ActiveSync, Public Folders, Microsoft Office Communicator & Lync Unified Communications including use of the voice, desktop sharing, and federation services 
Five plus years of experience in delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, rollout and support with Windows Active Directory and Exchange
Proficiency and experience in combinations of Exchange Messaging upgrades, Business Continuity & High Availability, Messaging Consolidation, Secure Messaging, Messaging Archiving, Unified Messaging, Mobile Messaging, Office Communications Server and Exchange scripting 
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Window’s Active Directory AD mixed mode environments, AD Replication, Domain Trusts, Group Policy, Login scripts, DNS, WINS, LDAP, IIS, SSL, SMTP 
On-call availability 

Preferred:
Working knowledge of one or more virtualization technologies (such as VMWare) 
At least one Microsoft Certification in Windows and/or Exchange Server. MCSE or MCITP desired
