Job Description


Marketing Coordinator, Marketing supports a marketing team, such as Student Acquisition or Student Retention, on all projects and campaigns throughout the University. An individual recommends targeted marketing programs and campaigns and implements/manages programs and campaigns to promote goals and objectives and ensures the programs and campaigns are aligned with and promote the clients brand. Gathers, analyzes, monitors and reports on key performance metrics to assess the success of marketing initiatives. An individual collaborates with internal Marketing cross-functional, channel, creative and planning teams, as well as external University partners, to deliver on objectives and ensure appropriate coordination that focuses on the student experience. 

Knowledge Skills & Abilities 
 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 
• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Two (2) years of experience in marketing, advertising and/or customer retention role 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 
• Effective written and oral communication skills with the primary ability to write a strong, compelling strategic brief grounded on insights 

• Good presentation skills to present recommendations with creative and strategy partners and to all levels within the University 

• Familiarity with online marketing management systems to track projects and reports on marketing roadmaps and backlogs 

• Strong, proven operational, project management skills and administrative skills with experience in prioritizing and managing multiple projects 

• Able to work in an Agile project environment that allows for prioritization and grooming of strategies and projects to align with changing University needs 

• Proven experience collaborating and working in cross-functional (internal and external) relationships including vendors, internal clients, editors and influencers 

• Excellent analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to perform analyses
