Job Description

Our client has an immediate need for a Lead Data Analyst for their office in the northwest metro area of Atlanta. Main responsibility will be to act as the primary contact for a software solution externally, towards client’s customers and, internally towards the different business units within the client that utilize the solution. Other responsibilities will include being responsible for the business side of the software solution, for the various projects which involve the software, and the main point of contact for client’s customers. You will have frequent interactions with important national and international financial institutions and work in a multidisciplinary team that has deep interest in analytics, data management and databases, statistics and risk management.


  • Analyze and master data provided by the various banking industry information providers (most importantly, the Credit Reporting Agencies)
  • Follow internal/external solution implementations managing project timelines and aspects such as:
    • Coordinate projects with high analytical complexity
    • Interface directly with the customers in order to gather the data and business requirements as well as present results and provide guidance
    • Share the methodology and transferring the project results and know-how with a consultancy approach
    • Coordinate projects, as project manager, making sure the project respects high qualitative and cost standards (deadlines, person days, effectiveness)
  • Responsible for attribute coding directly or by managing assigned resources
  • Perform statistical analysis on attributes
  • Gather business requirements
  • Produce project documentation (business requirements documentation, Project PowerPoint and other deliverables)
  • Produce product documentation (PowerPoint for sales purposes, Product Documentation, Procedures, etc.)
  • Present and communicate business objectives and results across internal functional teams and externally to the client
  • Present the software solution during pre-sales meeting, being the product expert which also means understating and communicating the role of data and attributes
  • Provide solution support to external customers
  • Participate in the internal processes in order to elaborate new analytical methodologies and development of software for the process automation


  • Bachelor’s Degree Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 5+ years of related Statistical Analysis experience; 7 years desired
  • Extensive knowledge of credit bureau data
  • Knowledge of SAS (or similar) analysis tools
  • Presentation and public speaker skills
  • Team work attitude, flexibility and ability to manage different phases of a project
  • Knowledge of loan originations systems and credit decisioning platforms
  • Strong capabilities in working with SQL
  • Proven track record which includes management of at least 3 high difficulty projects, and the understanding of clients’ needs
  • Strong relationship skills and excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate complex business problems
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 35% of time (either domestic or international)
