Process Analyst/Process Engineer 

Contract to Hire

Georgia or Texas

MDI is seeking a Process Architect  for a client of our that will be responsible for documenting and evaluating existing processes of the individual brands of the enterprise to highlight areas of best practice, opportunities for standardization and system optimization, and new capabilities to implement across the enterprise.   The enterprise standardization and optimization of system-enabled processes and use of systems to reduce cost, improve productivity, create sustainability, and develop best practices is achieved with a working understanding of how each brand does what it does as a business, using systems and technology across a range of maturity levels.

  • Alignment of organizational units according to enterprise standards, while allowing a controlled level of local flexibility, as needed, for unique business scenarios and circumstance (e.g., billing subscription members monthly versus annually).
  • Identifies trends and potential problem sources (by reviewing incident and problem analysis).
  • Compare processes, perform gap analysis, plan and implement process integration, audit and report on process integration and standardization success.
  • Once standardization is achieved in a business area, focus efforts on systems and process optimization, review efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes, then make and implement recommendations for improvement.
  • Business process modeling and realization. Modeling outputs are utilized for redesigning and optimizing merged business processes, as well as for configuring and implementing systems, IT infrastructure and technology.
  • In collaboration with operations management and the Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, implement processes for central control and management of brands’ operational data.  Creates a common process terminology, uniform process analysis, design and implementation methods and consistent reporting standards across the enterprise.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of error control and makes recommendations for improvements
  • Maintain inventory of problems under analysis and their current progress and status.
  • Document processes and evaluates process gaps relative to standards and system functions.
  • Prevent recurrence of issues by identifying root cause and implementing fixes.


  • Minimum 3+ years in process design and/or process improvement
  • Minimum 3+ years in process and systems/technology alignment
  • Analytical skills
  • Good Interpersonal skills
  • Work with all technical teams, operations teams/SMEs and external stakeholders like vendors.
  • Experience with process/maturity models in the applicable domain (e.g., ITIL, CMMI, Six Sigma). 
  • Six Sigma certification preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and teamwork skills required.
  • Aptitude for detail-oriented work and the ability to work in a virtual team environment required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
