Job Description

IT Help Desk Technician 

(1 Shifted position 7am - 6pm Thursday to Sunday)

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Primary objectives of this position are:

Answer/resolve support calls from end users in accordance with our service level agreement. Two or more years of hands on experience in network, hardware, software administration and telecommunications with remote support experience. This will be a shifted position on our helpdesk. This particular role will be 10 hours by 4 days weekly.

    1. Network/email account setups
    2. IRIS user setup
    3. Newstar Sales new user setups
    4. MSCRM Toolbox user setups
    5. Lync account setup
    6. Encompass account setups
  2. User Account Maintenance
    1. Active Directory/GAL Maintenance
    2. Network password resets
    3. Password resets in Newstar/Newstar Sales Profiler
    4. CRM Toolbox login issue
  3. IT Exit Form Process/Tracking
  4. Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)
    1. RDP session resets
    2. RDP published application setups/troubleshoot/support
  5. Mobile Devices
    1. Phone/iPad support
    2. Smartphone support
    3. Android support
  6. Installs
    1. Printer installations
    2. Network Copier/Scanner support/setup on network
  7. Support
    1. MS Office & various software issues
    2. Troubleshoot basic hardware issues
    3. VPN hardware/software troubleshooting
    4. Digital Sales Office support
  8. Misc.
    1. Send out I.T. related application/server downtime alerts to users
    2. Assist with conversions and upgrades as needed

Office 2010, 2013, 2016

Cisco Firewalls

Wireless communications and VPN technologies

Special Skills, Knowledge, and/or Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Surface Pro tablets/HP Desktops and various other models of PCs/Tablets

Proficiency in Windows 2003/2008 Server

LAN/WAN configurations and operations

Knowledge of Cisco network equipment to include Routers, Firewall and Switches

Clear understanding of protocols and the ability to configure and troubleshoot them

(TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, EIGRP, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, VPN, BGP, Network Monitor etc.)
