Help Desk Analyst
Midtown Atlanta
Full Time / Direct Hire

MDI Group has an excellent opportunity for an IT Help Desk Specialist for their office in the Midtown area of metro Atlanta.  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the latest and best tools in a global environment.   You will be the first point of contact and remediation for any enterprise tools and services used by users.


  • First line support for US End Users as well as global employees
  • Will be responsible for  user setup of laptops, VOIP telephone system, Active Directory, email access, VPN access, access to enterprise tools, etc.
  • Troubleshoot employee computing devices, conference room infrastructure, and enterprise tool issues and work with Tech Ops resources to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for Office 365 administration – User, Groups, Mailboxes, 2FA
  • Basic Active Directory administration
  • Support contact for hosted VoIP phone system
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
  • Monitor system-generated alerts and respond appropriately
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work with IT resources to resolve in a timely manner
  • Support audio/visual equipment (LifeSize, BlueJeans and GotoMeeting).
  • Work to educate company employees on use of assigned hardware and software


  • 2 years experience in End User support experience and working knowledge of
    -switches and router infrastructure to .
  • Hands-on experience setting up and supporting Windows and Mac devices. (Windows 10 and Mac OS setups and troubleshooting)
  • Experience managing and using enterprise tools such as Office 365 user setups, Active Directory, video conferencing and VOIP telephone systems. 
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and be comfortable with change.
  • Strong people skills. Ability to listen, to communicate and to relate to others on a personal or professional level. Good people skills also extends to include problem-solving abilities, empathy for others and a willingness to work together toward the common good.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience working in a help desk or internal IT support environment
