Our client has an immediate need for an IT Help Desk Manager for their office in the Midtown area of metro Atlanta. This is a direct hire role with a company in the finance industry that has an excellent benefits package. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, management, maintenance, installation and support of internal IT systems including telephones, laptop and desktop installation and configuration, email and server support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support new hire onboarding process by provisioning necessary Windows & Macs laptop, desktop system, telephone, Active Directory, email access, VPN and access utilizing multiple technologies including ConnectWise and Ansible
  • Office 365 administration – User, Groups, Mailboxes, 2FA
  • Active Directory administration
  • Support contact for hosted VoIP phone system
  • Monitor VPN security and access
  • Deploy new Windows Servers as necessary
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
  • Monitor system-generated alerts and respond appropriately
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work with IT resources to resolve in a timely manner
  • Support audio/visual equipment (LifeSize, BlueJeans and GotoMeeting).
  • Work to educate company employees on use of assigned hardware and software
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager
  • Manage a global team across the enterprise
  • Ability to lead global enterprise project planning and execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • 3+ years of experience working in a helpdesk or internal IT support environment with a global team (Windows and Mac devices)
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks and deliverables under tight deadlines while maintaining flexibility
  • Must be able to work on an on-call basis with the understanding that he/she may be called for support 24 x 7
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field
  • Administration of Microsoft Networks, Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP, switches, firewalls
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server – Both Server Administration and Active Directory Administration, Office 365.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, firewalls, switches, and routers
  • Hands on with enterprise device management tools (like LabTech, Sophos, Office 365).
