IT Support Specialist

Spartanburg, SC

Responsibilities:
Provide IT support to select service hotels. IT support includes networking, desktop PC support; telecommunications support, hospitality specific hardware/software, patch management, and facilitating vendor support.  Assist with the planning, documentation and installation of technology for new and existing hotels. This position will require a willingness to work off-hours when necessary, including some travel to various hotel locations.

Requirements:
2+ years’ experience in IT or hospitality fields
Experience supporting Windows desktop and server clients 
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity in a LAN / WAN environment
Working knowledge of router, switch, and firewall configuration
Experience managing Active Directory and Group Policy
Printer, scanner, copier, and fax support
Experience providing technical support for to remote users
Experience working with technology vendors’ support organizations
Resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment 

Preferred:
Wireless network and access point configuration
Cabling and infrastructure deployment experience
Telecom setup of PBX systems, telephone and data lines
Experience supporting Microsoft Office Applications
