Job Description


One of the fastest growing SaaS companies in the US that is building a highly scalable cloud automation software in their La Jolla Commons area and they are hiring for an eLearning Content Designer to support multiple teams including Customer Support, Software Development, Cloud Operations!

As a designer you will develop high-quality instructional materials and other curricula used for online learning for multiple departments within this organization. You will interface with various subject matter experts and other stakeholders to take a 360 view on content development from the storyboards/outlines to the delivery of course content.  



Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in technical training, including development of eLearning/instructional design materials
  • Experience with eLearning-authoring software and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Strong technical background and experience with enterprise software
  • Experience developing training materials for highly technical content, preferably complex, enterprise-level software systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with subject matter experts and understand learning objectives
  • Experience with modern instructional design practices/methodologies
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles/methodologies such as ISD, ADDIE, Mager
  • Innovative – not pigeonholed to a particular tool or method
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Strong verbal, written, proofreading, editing, and reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, similar field, or additional years of professional experience


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Articulate Storyline
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge and/or experience with IT Service Management applications/tools
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework


What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

  • 70% Hands-on content development
  • 30% Requirements gathering, stakeholder meetings, etc.


The Offer

  • Competitive Pay: Up to $65/hour, DOE
  • Contract Duration: 6+ Months
