Well, University of Phoenix needs you. As a Digital Copywriter, you’ll collaborate with our in-house integrated marketing team to create concept-driven social media campaigns that incorporate words, pictures and video to capture the hearts and minds of prospects, customers and influencers. You’ll also take the lead in creating social media campaigns designed to support and elevate the University of Phoenix brand. Working closely with the creative team, strategists and project managers to ensure creative concepts and executions meet brand standards and established business objectives will be in your wheelhouse. 

Copywriting Skills 
Provide concept-driven creative ideas and solutions for strategic social media campaigns 
Research, explore, and communicate best practices in social media copy and discern which competitive ideas are most effective 
Use consumer insights data, platform performance, and key social media trends to inform the development of strategies and plans 
Collaborate with other copywriting leads to ensure a consistent voice across campaigns 
Lead, design and implement social strategy with emphasis on a holistic, full-funnel approach that aligns with business goals 
Generate, edit, publish and share original, engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) 
Concept original short-form videos that leverage the strengths and nuances of various social channels 
Basic Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, advertising, or a related field 
Five or more years of experience leading the creative for digital sites/ marketing 
Deep knowledge of all aspects of the digital space: platforms, vendors, measurement, content creation, media, technology, UX 
Large, integrated cross-channel campaigns and promotional experience  
**Online portfolio and writing samples are a must!** 
 Additional Qualifications: 

Ability to develop creative and original copy that aligns with the UOPX voice 
Experience in higher education is a plus 
Solid communication skills, verbal and written (master of spelling, grammar, and punctuation) 
Strong copy and design sense; able to organize information in a way that’s easy for readers to understand; able to communicate vision to a designer; able to digest complexity and deliver simplicity 
Solid project-management, organizational and decision-making skills; able to efficiently handle multiple projects and deadlines 
Passion for learning, education and the next new thing 
A shared belief in branding as more than a logo, and stellar creative as more than a knock-out headline 
A background of enduring the rigors of fast-paced projects and demanding creative environments 
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
