Desktop Support Analyst
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 
Contract 3 + months

Must Haves:

  • Windows and Office experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshooting wireless access issues and mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • Troubleshooting Mac OSX desired.
  • Preferred - A+, Network+, System Center Configuration Manager 2012 experience desired.
  • Installs, modifies and repairs desktop and laptop computer hardware and software systems.
  • Provides technical advice and support to system users. Strong customer service skills a must.

What you will be doing:

  • Pitt Ohio is upgrading their Citrix, Windows (windows 10), and Office environments. 
  • Candidate will be traveling to their different sites (almost 20 sites in NY, PA, MD, OH) to support their end users who have been upgraded. 
  • Installs and configures software needed to satisfy user requirements
  • Installs all peripheral components such as printers, scanners, phones, and docking stations
  • Provides telephone, in-person and remote support to end-users
  • Coordinates activities with Helpdesk and Network Engineering teams
  • Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication
  • Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
  • Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
  • Monitors ticketing system and completes tickets in a timely manner.
  • Travels between sites to perform assigned duties.

Travel required:

Frequently travels in PA, OH, MD and NY (all expenses covered for any travel outside of Pittsburgh). Candidates’ home base is Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania.
