Job Description


       

E-Commerce Data Analyst

Location: Chandler, AZ

Project:

Google Analytics is already implemented*

You will need to be able to do an assessment of where they are, what is working well and needs to be added/fixed.

Outside of the first assessment piece, you will be largely analyzing the data and creating reports to guide marketing on what to do with the information.

You should be able to recommend new/ different tools they could be using

Current Tooling:

“Hot John” – heat mapping tools

Marketing Automation Platform

Tableau – data visualization

Google Analytics +  GA Optimize 360

AB Testing (Done in house by marketing team)

Responsibilities:

Assess the current Google Analytics integration and provide insight on what is working well and what needs to be enhanced.

Develop baseline KPIs across current website infrastructure and determine measurement for success after new site builds have been implemented

Revamp Google Analytics Event and Goal tracking strategy.

Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Analyze reports and turn them into actionable insights.

Educate yourself and organization on latest developments in organic search and convey potential business impacts.

Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in a role primarily focused on Data Analytics, or a degree in a data driven field

Working knowledge of common SEO tools (SEMRush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.) – and the ability to interpret the output of those tools in a way that conveys business meaning to clients

Nice to Haves:

*Strong candidates will have experience in more than one of the following: Google Data Studio, Tableau, content strategy, site migrations, JavaScript (particularly as it relates to SEO), link building, SEO conversion funnels, ecommerce management software (Demandware, Magento, WebSphere, etc.)

*Intimate familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms (Hotjar, Omniture, Coremetrics) – and going beyond mere KPI reporting to interpret trends and recommend courses of action

*Experience conducting and interpreting A/B tests through tools such as Google Optimize

*Experience with implementation of Google Analytics via Tag management solution

*Experience with both new site builds and ongoing site expansion

*Google Analytics Certification
