Change Manager
Greenville, SC

The Change Manager will be accountable for ensuring that the Change Management Process is consistently applied on all changes across the application teams, the Infrastructure teams, and the Infrastructure suppliers.  In addition, this position will coordinate training, documentation, and will ensure that the change management process is successfully used throughout the organization.  The Change Manager is also responsible for continuous improvements in the use of the Change Process.  

What you will be doing:

  • Work with change coordinators, requestors, approvers, and implementers to foster understanding of the change process and to ensure compliance to the change management policy
  • Extract data from ServiceNow and prepare the reports required for all Change management activities
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings with Change advisory board (CAB) 
  • Evaluate and ensure the readiness of changes including risk assessment and impact analysis
  • Approve or reject changes based on readiness of the change
  • Execute emergency changes, expedited changes, and escalations in alignment with guidelines
  • Help develop, maintain, and communicate change schedules
  • Lead post implementation review meetings 
  • Analyze change data to determine continuous improvement actions
  • Lead and implement approved continuous improvement actions
  • Identify training gaps and develop / present training material to close gaps

Must Have:

  • 5 years of experience in IS field working with change management
  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills 
  • Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, proactive, and work well both independently and as part of a team 
  • Understanding of IS Infrastructure and Applications Development and Support
  • Understanding of risk management
  • Self-directed using independent judgement thinking to drive process oriented improvements
  • Experience in working in a global IS environment with multiple suppliers/vendors
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • ITIL certification (foundations) preferred
