Job Description


The position will gather requirements, assist in design, and be heavily involved in testing and project delivery processes.  The role is a change agent assisting business in documentation procedures, identify process improvements, leading technology and business change through testing, quality assurance, and post-delivery support.  Works closely with the Enterprise Business Analyst and Database Developer with loading key data to the data warehouse in a timely manner.

The position will also assist in the coordination and communication of major product rollouts and cross-functional business projects.  The role works closely with business users and the project team to analyze business requirements in order to create the project charter, project plan, cost/ROI analysis, create test scenarios, and lead through implementation.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Assist IT leadership in building the Agile methodology and mindset
  • Coordinate and track deliverables across multiple business units
  • Build and deliver status reports and metrics
  • Coordinate the delivery of successful product releases and projects including operational readiness, organizational and customer communications, and post-release activities that include continuous improvement steps
  • Responsible for managing numerous concurrent projects across the business
  • Organize and lead project touchpoints, status meetings, ceremonies, and communication across teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure stakeholders and subject matter experts are engaged and expectations have been set regarding their involvement and participation
  • Lead project team in brainstorming, root cause analysis, or similar problem-solving techniques to assist in resolving issues, crafting solutions, or defining process improvements
  • Gather requirements, design and create a system of standardized tables, forms and procedures that support vendor and client pricing models.  
  • Work to manage change within lines of business to implement new methods of tracking and storing client and vendor information.
  • Load and maintain locations, billing and other relevant client specific information in easily to read and retrievable format that is consistent across the company
  • Validate data between three applications (NetSuite, Phaseware, Data Warehouse)
  • Troubleshoot issues related to data warehouse with Client Services/Accounting 
  • Document business processes, workflow, and user procedures
  • Assist in design, development and test process for new technical releases
  • Other duties and projects as assigned and required of the business

ROLE COMPETENCIES

  • B.A. or B.S degree preferred or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or other Agile certification(s)
  • 5+ years of professional experience as Business Analyst and/or Project Manager or equivalent position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, communication, and effective delivery of solutions
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet objectives
  • Experience with building Agile methodology, tools, reports, and create the Agile mindset across the business enterprise
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate others
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to understand terms and conditions of contracts
  • Great people skills and the ability to keep an open mind when it comes to seeking input or providing opinions
