Audio / Video Team Lead

The Audio / Video Team Lead is responsible for the design, setup, running, and scheduling of the Audio / Video services at the company. The Audio / Video Team Lead will provide technical assistance and support during productions, meetings and events as requested or as needed. The Audio / Video Team Lead will be familiar with the production suites, Audio / Video equipment, policies, programs, and services. The Audio / Video Team Lead will be responsible for mentoring and developing team members to meet department goals.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Engineer and Design Audio / Video specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflows, past event and show data, information, and management requirements
  • Designs Audio / Video systems by evaluating performance issues including availability, utilization, and ease of use of equipment
  • Managing and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining Audio / Video policies and procedures; establishing connectivity
  • Responsible for Design and Engineering of Audio / Video systems
  • Maintains Audio / Video performance by monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting Audio / Video problems; escalating problems to vendor
  • Secures Audio / Video equipment and systems by developing access, monitoring, control, and auditing procedures; maintains documentation
  • Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support
  • Upgrades systems by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements
  • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Documents specific duties, activities, problems solved and issues resolved
  • Assists in the documentation of the Audio / Video services and infrastructure
  • Performs trainings and demonstrations for team
  • Attends meetings and serves on committees, as requested
  • Coordinate to set up and take down Audio / Video equipment, as well as any other equipment needed for meetings
  • Coordinates with upper management to setup meetings and trainings as needed
  • Regular attendance as required
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested
  • Some Travel Required

Must Haves:

  • High School graduate required
  • Bachelor Degree Required
  • 5-10 years of Audio / Video, Production and Studio Experience
  • Leadership Experience Required
  • Digital audio workstations and mixing consoles
  • 4k and HD camera systems
  • PTZ and camera control units
  • Digital video mixing and switchers
  • SDI video routing
