Job Description

Qualified candidate has Bachelors Degree or equivalent (5+) years of relevant work experience as a UX/UI Designer. Must be highly entrepreneurial and think strategically about design, takes the initiative to learn independently and proactively contribute to the success of the team. Candidate should have a dazzling portfolio that displays a spectrum of mobile AND web-based visual design. Intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in broad areas relating to user experience, technology and design. Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of visual design principles for mobile devices. Ability to influence senior leaders on matters related to design. At least 2yrs experience working on products for mobile devices. 4 years of experience as a professional UX or concept designer. 

Lead the creation of the visual design and related assets for enterprise and consumer applications. Collaborates with product, developers and key business stakeholders. Analyze and participate in gathering user and customer research data leveraging this information to create artifacts such as mockups of varying fidelities, typographic systems, animations, and interactive prototypes exhibiting a true understanding of the user. Create inclusive and accessible designs based on user requirements, best practices and established design patterns for products that are web based as well as mobile. Work across multiple platforms including Desktop, Smartphones, Tablets and Wearable devices. Create application concepts by defining information architecture, user interface flow, wireframes mockups and other design guidelines. Present designs and explain rationale to other team members and key stakeholders. Create and maintain an atomic design system and user interface kit. Works with engineering team during the development process to ensure the visual design and interactions are implemented as designed. Provides thought leadership and mentorship to others. Initiates and leads efforts to improve the overall digital experience by continuously evaluating user behavior and design. Collaborates within the team and with external teams to establish consistent practices and patterns and share ideas.
