Job Description


Audio Visual Team Lead
Contract
Richardson, TX 

Responsibilities: 
Maintains strong working knowledge of Cisco/Zoom video and audio equipment, wireless technology, computers, LCD projectors, and video conferencing equipment. 
Coordinates integration with specialty audio visual equipment as needed. 
Responsible for cord management & safe set up. Liaison with client management regarding the exact audio-visual requirements for events. 
This will include assistance with PowerPoint presentations, audio and videoconferences. Manages AV inventory and preventative maintenance schedule. 
Assigns projects within the team. Performs other duties as assigned. 
Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project team.
 Leads project teams and/or plans, and supervises assignments of lower level employees. May have responsibility for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating a work unit and/or group. 
CTH after 5+ months for the right candidate. 
Must have experience setting up Cisco and Zoom infrastructure and video conferencing systems. 
Looking for a team lead with experience who can help drive this group forward.


Qualifications: 
Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years (4-5+) as an AV Engineer. 
This position is responsible for setting up, installing, testing & troubleshooting AV equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, LCD projectors, video monitors, Cisco and Zoom video conference, telepresence devices, recording equipment, etc. 
Performs in a team lead capacity. Reading and comprehending line drawings, floorplans and ceiling plans. 
Familiarity with DSP processors, such as Biamp, ClearOne, or Polycom preferred. 
Operation of all audio-visual equipment during events with the aim to provide high quality technical standards. 
Ensures that the audio-visual equipment is tested and in correct working order before use or an event; Investigates faults and recommends further actions to rectify. 
*Travel to project sites to supervise AV installation by vendor*
