IRM Platform Owner
3 month Contract to hire
Cincinnati, OH or Van Buren Township, MI

Summary:

Our client is looking for an IRM Platform owner to help drive the adoption and use cases for securing the company’s most critical IP. The IRM tool of choice is Vera, and this individual will own day-to-day responsibilities of managing and maintaining the Vera platform. You will become a deep subject matter expert with Vera and work directly with the business leaders and app teams to understand business use cases and deliver game-changing results. The ideal candidate will quickly learn the infrastructure needed to support the Vera platform, understand the configuration and settings that make Vera work, and also perform maintenance, software upgrades and disaster recovery as needed. Finally, you will be an evangelist for IRM and passionately overview the many benefits of the solution with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of end-to-end project plans for integrating IRM into critical applications – gather requirements, build project plan, set project milestones, hold project meetings to drive tasks, etc.
  • Be 3rd level support for IRM providing operational support for infrastructure and end user issues.
  • Operational support of all Vera hardware & integrations including, but not limited to, on-prem Linux servers, WebMethods connections, Akana API’s, Vera Console Management, End-User Support, and app integrations.
  • Lead critical application teams to integrate the Vera SDK into their application by gathering CTQ’s, have an understanding of upstream / downstream use of documents and apps, having a deep technical understanding of the SDK and Vera platform.
  • Represent on a company-wide IRM Council to help set strategic direction for the platform.
  • Build rapport and trust with business teams to identify and drive additional use cases.
  • Liaison with the vendor to coordinate delivering enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Communicate and present to executive leadership on project status, risks, and issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional IT experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, information Rights Management, Data Protection or Program Management.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Potential infrequent weekend support for releases

Other Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with any IRM technology, preferably Vera.
  • Proficiency in Vera-enabling technologies (WebMethods, Akana, AWS).
  • Demonstrated experience in application and system architecture (physical, virtual, cloud).
  • Experience in architectural design and understanding complex interfacing systems.
  • Solid experience delivering large and/or complex IT projects to a large enterprise customer.
  • Strong technical expertise required (Linux, DevOps, AWS Experience).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with product owners.
  • Self-driven to learn new technology and build technical skill sets.
