DLP Platform Lead
3 month Contract to Hire
Cincinnati, OH or Van Buren Township, MI

Summary:

Our client is looking for a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platform leader to join an innovative and exciting cybersecurity team tasked to prevent and detect threats to our most sensitive intellectual property. You will deliver subject matter expertise and will research, identify, and implement mobile data security and data loss prevention solutions to protect business critical data. Finally, in this role you will assess the current data security posture for mobile devices, and the recommend and drive improvements to the program including concepts, standards, procedures, and technology and be accountable to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization's data security architectures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Be the subject matter expert for mobile device security.
  • Provide direction and expertise for data security and data loss prevention objectives.
  • Identify inadequacies within the environment and construct solutions to address data loss prevention supporting cyber and insider threat landscape.
  • Support development and refinement of policies and incident management processes.
  • Provide support to the lines of business and Cyber Operations on DLP rule coverage and effectiveness, and assist with acceptance of rule enhancements.
  • Develop scripts, tools, and applications to automate manual operational tasks and to monitor and report on platform, rule, and control performance, coverage and effectiveness.
  • Operational support of all mobile DLP hardware & integrations including, but not limited to on-prem infrastructure and SaaS application management.
  • Build rapport and trust with business teams to identify and drive solutions to business data security challenges.
  • Communicate and present to executive leadership on project status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional IT experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mobile solutions, Data Protection, Data Security, Cyber Security, Information Security or Technology Engineering and Architecture.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Visionary thinking with the ability to create short and long term roadmaps to deliver mobile security strategy.

Other Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience support and management of mobile platforms in a large scale environment.
  • Experience in mobile Data Loss Prevention programs and processes.
  • Prior experience in completing application security gap analysis.
  • Strong team player who collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.
  • Experience in architectural design and understanding complex interfacing systems.
  • Solid experience delivering large and/or complex IT projects to a large enterprise customer.
  • Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with product owners.
  • Self-driven to learn new technology and build technical skill sets
  • CISSP, CISA, SANS GIAC, Security+or relevant security certification(s).
